Just had the incredible opportunity to meet with Sardar Gurpreet Guggi Bhaaji and present to him about the Guru Nanak Dev Global University and our plans for the upcoming World Punjabi Conference on June 22& 23 in 2024. About Sardar Gurpreet Guggi Ji

Gurpreet Singh Waraich, popularly known as Gurpreet Guggi, is an Indian actor, comedian, and film producer who primarily works in Punjabi cinema. He was born on July 19, 1971, in Khokhar Fojian, Gurdaspur district, Punjab, India.

Gurpreet Guggi started his career as a Punjabi stage artist and later became a popular comedian on television. He made his acting debut in the Punjabi film “Jee Aayan Nu” in 2002, which was directed by Manmohan Singh. He has since appeared in several successful Punjabi films, including “Asa Nu Maan Watna Da” (2004), “Jijaji” (2005), “Yaar Anmulle” (2011), and “Ardaas” (2016).

Apart from acting, Gurpreet Guggi has also produced several Punjabi films, including “Bhaji in Problem” (2013), “Double Di Trouble” (2014), and “Ardaas Karaan” (2019).

In addition to his work in films, Gurpreet Guggi has also been associated with several social causes, including campaigns against drug abuse and female foeticide. He has received several awards for his contributions to Punjabi cinema, including the Best Actor in a Comic Role award at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards.
