Syed Jaaved Ahmed Jaaferi, popularly known as Jaaved Jaaferi, is a versatile Indian actor, dancer, and comedian. Born on December 4, 1963, he has made notable contributions to Hindi films and television shows, leaving a lasting impact on the entertainment industry.

Jaaved Jaaferi comes from a prominent showbiz family, being the son of the legendary comedian Shri Jagdeep Ji. He has showcased his talent in various domains, including acting, dubbing, hosting, and commentary. Known for his dynamic and comedic performances, he has entertained audiences across generations.

His association with Disney has been noteworthy, as he lent his voice to iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Don Karnage in Hindi. Additionally, Jaaved Jaaferi scripted the Hindi version of Disney’s “Jungle Book 2” and Pixar’s “The Incredibles.” He also played the character of Charlie Anna in the animated film “Roadside Romeo,” a collaborative effort between Yash Raj Films and Disney.

Jaaved Jaaferi has left his mark on the television landscape as well. He gained popularity as a commentator on the Japanese TV show “Takeshi’s Castle” and hosted “Ninja Warrior” on Pogo TV and Hungama. He has also judged the Karaoke World Championships India, sharing his expertise and love for music.

In the radio world, Jaaved Jaaferi hosted “Big Googly” on BIG 92.7FM and “Once More” on Epic channel, where he humorously discusses Bollywood films from the 1970s to the 1990s. He has received the life membership of the International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television, acknowledging his significant contributions to the industry.

Jaaved Jaaferi’s talent extends to the film industry, where he has showcased his acting skills and dancing prowess. His breakthrough role as a villain in the film “Meri Jung” (1985) allowed him to demonstrate his diverse abilities on screen. He became a popular figure on Channel [V], thanks to his association with the show “Videocon Flashback.” Jaaved Jaaferi anchored the song program “Timex Timepass” and won the IIFA Award for Best Comic Role in “Salaam Namaste” (2005).

Currently, Jaaved Jaaferi hosts the popular dance competition show “Boogie Woogie” on Sony Entertainment Television Asia, alongside his brother Naved Jaffery and friend Ravi Behl. He has also started hosting the game show “Mai Ka Laal” on Disney Channel India, captivating audiences with his infectious energy and wit.
