Prof. Surendra Singh is an esteemed academician and researcher with an impressive career spanning over 45+ years. He has held significant positions at the National Diary Research Institute (Deemed University) in Karnal, Haryana, including Principal Scientist, Registrar, and Controller of Examinations.

Having superannuated from the esteemed institute, Prof. Singh has made valuable contributions to the fields of academia, research, and guidance throughout his illustrious career. His expertise extends to teaching post-graduate classes and providing guidance to Ph.D., M.Sc., and M.Tech research scholars as an Advisory Committee member and Guide.

Prof. Singh has played a crucial role in conducting various examinations at the NDRI University, including the All India Entrance Examinations for UG/PG and Ph.D. admissions. He has also been involved in counseling sessions at ICAR Delhi and the recruitment examination for the All India Agricultural Research Service at NDRI, Karnal. Additionally, he has organized national seminars for the Association of Indian Universities, conducted summer institutes, delivered special lectures, and coordinated various activities associated with national and international conferences.

As an accomplished researcher, Prof. Singh has published numerous research papers in reputed journals and has been recognized with two Best Research Papers Awards from the Indian Dairy Association. He has also been actively involved in the revision and preparation of syllabi for UG/PG level courses, as well as the formulation of Academic Rules and Regulations at the NDRI Deemed University.

Prof. Singh’s academic contributions extend beyond his own institution. He has served as a paper setter and examiner for various universities at the UG/PG level, and held positions such as Secretary of the Association of Dairy Scientists of India and Vice President of the Haryana Economic Association. He has been a member and secretary of the Board of Studies at NDRI (Deemed University), a member of the Academic Council, and a member of Selection Committees for various posts at different designations. Furthermore, he has served as an external examiner for viva-voce examinations at prestigious institutions like HAU/PAU and has been an expert member of the Public Service Commission.

Prof. Singh’s dedication and expertise have been widely recognized, and he has participated in conferences, including the Vice-Chancellors Conference organized by the Association of Indian Universities at Madurai and I.U. Chandigarh.

After his superannuation, Prof. Singh continued his academic journey as a Senior Faculty at the Budha Group of Institutions in Karnal, further sharing his knowledge and experiences with the new generation of learners.
