Guru Nanak Global Foundation (GNGF) (India) and Lamrin Tech Skills University (LTSU) have signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish the Mind2Market (M2M) Hub, a next-generation innovation, skill development, and prototyping ecosystem designed to transform India’s deep-tech and advanced manufacturing landscape.
The Mind2Market initiative will create a centralized flagship campus in Punjab that enables students, researchers, startups, MSMEs, and industry professionals to move ideas from concept to validated prototype using industry-grade infrastructure and globally aligned engineering workflows.
The partnership marks a major step toward positioning Punjab as a national hub for Semiconductor innovation, advanced manufacturing, applied engineering, and workforce development. The proposed project includes advanced cleanroom facilities, Semiconductor process exposure labs, packaging and assembly infrastructure, PCB design and fabrication labs, and full system-level integration and testing capabilities.
Under the agreement, LTSU will allocate a minimum of five acres of institutional land for the development of the Mind2Market Hub, while GNGF will lead technology development, operational strategy, global partnerships, curriculum design, and industry engagement.
The project is expected to support:
- Training for over 250 students annually in semiconductor design and fabrication
- Upskilling of more than 2,500 professionals every year in advanced technologies
- Industry-academia collaboration across semiconductor, electronics, AI, embedded systems, sustainability, and advanced manufacturing sectors
- Startup incubation and commercialization pathways for university-led innovation
Mind2Market has been designed as a national and global access platform, enabling universities and collaborators across India and internationally to participate through innovation residencies, prototyping bootcamps, faculty immersion programs, and SDG-focused applied engineering projects.
The initiative aligns with India’s growing semiconductor and electronics manufacturing ambitions while also supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals through innovation in clean energy, healthcare technologies, climate resilience, smart mobility, sustainable agriculture, and digital inclusion.

The Mind2Market ecosystem will also work closely with industry partners, equipment manufacturers, investors, research institutions, and global collaborators to accelerate prototype development, commercialization, and workforce readiness.
The initiative is expected to catalyze new opportunities for Punjab’s MSME ecosystem, particularly in sectors such as electronics, precision engineering, EVs, AI-driven manufacturing, PCB manufacturing, smart systems, and semiconductor supply-chain components.
The project aims to become one of the region’s most significant university-led deep-tech and prototyping initiatives.
