The Saheli Semiconductor Scholars Initiative is designed to identify and support talented, motivated, and aspiring young women who wish to pursue careers in semiconductors, electronics, artificial intelligence, and other advanced technology fields.
1. Applicant Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be female students applying under the Saheli Initiative.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in STEM and semiconductor-related careers.
- Meet the admission requirements of the selected partner university.
2. Academic Eligibility
Applicants should fall into one of the following categories:
High School Students
- Currently enrolled in Grade 11 or Grade 12 (or equivalent), or
- Recently completed high school and seeking admission to an undergraduate program.
Undergraduate Applicants
- Eligible for admission into a Bachelor’s degree program in a semiconductor-related discipline.
Postgraduate Applicants
- Hold a recognized Bachelor’s degree and meet the admission criteria for a Master’s program.

4. Academic Performance
Applicants are expected to demonstrate strong academic potential.
Recommended minimum requirements:
- Equivalent of 70% or above in the most recent qualifying examination (or equivalent GPA), or
- Meet the minimum admission standards of the partner university.
Exceptional candidates with demonstrated leadership, innovation, or financial need may also be considered.
5. English Language Proficiency
For programs delivered in English, applicants must meet the language requirements of the respective partner university, which may include:
- IELTS
- TOEFL
- PTE
- Duolingo English Test
- Other accepted language qualifications

6. Leadership & Community Engagement
Preference may be given to students who have demonstrated:

7. Scholarship Eligibility
