Bhandal, distinguished Professor at Cleveland State University, as Honorary Principal Advisor to GNDGU and Board Member of PurePlanet Global Ventures LLC, effective immediately.
Dr. Bhandal is a highly respected academician, scientist and thought leader with extensive expertise in science, engineering, technology innovation, and higher education leadership. He taught for 33 years in different colleges in Punjab and now teaching Physics at Cleveland State University since 2016. He is contributing significantly to research, teaching, and mentorship in areas aligned with emerging technologies, sustainable systems, and interdisciplinary collaboration. His academic journey includes advanced degrees and a career dedicated to bridging theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world applications — values that resonate deeply with GNDGU’s mission of building enlightened global leaders through ethical innovation, 100% employability, and SDG-aligned education.
In his dual roles, Dr. Bhandal will provide strategic guidance to GNDGU on academic program development, research initiatives, and global partnerships, while advising PurePlanet Global Ventures on ethical commercialization, innovation strategy, and sustainable growth across its subsidiaries in technology incubation, media production, and digital communication platforms.
