Amos Dor

Amos Dor is a technology and business leader with a career spanning semiconductor manufacturing, automation, AI, software, industrial digital transformation, and entrepreneurship.

He has held senior leadership roles associated with Applied Materials, one of the world’s leading semiconductor equipment and materials companies. His work has focused on using data, automation, software and AI to improve manufacturing performance.

His semiconductor experience includes work around defect identification, process knowledge, data analytics and manufacturing intelligence. His professional profile also lists patents related to semiconductor defect-source identification, defect knowledge libraries and big-data analysis.

One of the most interesting chapters of his career was building a pharmaceutical manufacturing business inside Applied Materials. As Pharma General Manager/CTO and leader of SmartFactory Rx, he helped apply technologies and manufacturing concepts developed in the semiconductor industry to biopharmaceutical manufacturing.

More recently, Amos described his transition following the spin-off of the SmartFactory Rx business and its rebranding as Modersys, moving into a board/advisory role focused on the intersection of AI and intelligent manufacturing.
